Every child deserves an equal chance to learn. As SKILDCenter and Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) have been advocating for inclusion in higher education and the job market, SKILD partnered with NDU Lifelong Learning Center – LLC to offer a course on the essentials for accompanying children with special needs in a mainstream classroom. Over 5 modules, this “Guided and Skilled” course prepared 39 individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to assist children with special needs.
