The evening commenced with host Marianne Zouein welcoming guests to a historic celebration marking SKILD’s NEASC accreditation. In a moving highlight of the night, Zouein graciously accepted the mantle of becoming an official ambassador for individuals with special needs in Lebanon.
The ceremony featured powerful words from national education leaders. The Secretary-General of Catholic Schools in Lebanon addressed the audience on the broader necessity of inclusive, high-quality education. Following this, longtime supporter and keynote speaker His Excellency Elias Bou Saab took the stage, proudly declaring the accreditation “a source of pride for all of Lebanon.”
Turning toward the future, SKILD’s leadership shared their vision for the center’s next chapter. Founder Dr. Nabil Costa reminded attendees that with prestigious recognition comes an even greater responsibility to serve with excellence. Concluding the celebration, Director Mrs. Hiba Al Jamal offered a heartfelt thank you to the guests, staff, and partners who made the journey possible, promising to move forward with unyielding passion.
