Under the distinguished patronage of Mrs. Claudine Aoun Roukoz, President of the National Commission for Lebanese Women, the SKILD Center proudly hosted the Middle East’s inaugural “Night to Shine” event!
This night is truly unlike any other—it is a joyous celebration where every child is honored as a unique and precious individual, irrespective of their physical or mental abilities. For they are all children of God; they are loved, they are worthy, they are kings and queens, and this is their night to shine!
On this night, Eighty individuals with special needs, representing 16 specialized schools, celebrated a joyful prom night complete with a royal welcome, limousine rides, seated dinner, enthusiastic dancing, a crowning ceremony, and a throng of “paparazzi.” It was, undeniably, the night of their lives.
