Empowering every learner, one step at a time! To mark the National Day for Students with Learning Differences, St. George School launched a powerful awareness campaign, giving voice to the unique perspectives of students with learning differences. Posters throughout the school proclaimed messages like, “You think like this, but I think differently,” “You see the word like this, but I see it differently,” “Don’t criticize me, I was born like this,” “Respect is a must,” and “I am not lazy, this is the pace I can learn.” These messages serve as a poignant reminder of the importance of understanding, acceptance, and respect. By raising awareness, we strive to create a school community where all students feel valued and supported, free from the devastating effects of bullying, which can shatter a student’s self-confidence and hinder their learning potential.
