Equipping Leaders for Real Impact
Equipping Leaders for Real Impact To turn this mission into action, Syrian community leaders across schools, churches, and civic spaces…
At SKILD Center, we are driven by a profound commitment to human dignity. We believe that belonging, peace, and refuge are universal rights. To bring this vision to life, we engage with the most influential pillars of our society—our communities—transforming religious spaces into environments of genuine acceptance through our dedicated workshop series.
Our mission is built upon a fundamental spiritual truth: Every child is created in God’s image and likeness. We recognize that every child—regardless of the complexity of their challenges—is a precious and intentional reflection of the Divine. This belief drives us to ensure that the Church stands as a true sanctuary where no one is excluded and everyone belongs.
We equip community leaders, volunteers, teachers, parents and congregants with the tools they need to foster inclusion. Our training sessions provide both theological grounding and practical guidance to:
Identify & Celebrate: Understand the diverse needs and unique gifts of children with special needs.
Dismantle Barriers: Identify and remove physical and social obstacles that hinder full participation.
Foster Culture: Cultivate a welcoming and compassionate environment where families feel supported rather than sidelined.
The Goal: A Calling Fulfilled
Through these workshops, the SKILD Center strives to help the Community fulfill its highest calling: becoming a home where all of God’s children can find peace, grow in their faith, and take an active, valued role in the life of the community.
